Geez on Ape is a ground breaking collection of NFTs launched on Ape Chain in November 2024. Featuring 5,555 3d Gorillas, who are loveable but a bit dim-witted in nature, this collection sold out within 20 minutes of the mint launch!
What is a Gee?
A Gee is a NFT on Ape Chain, these Gorillas come in a staggering number of traits, some of which will be a nod to the BAYC collections (zombie fur, admiral coat etc.) and there are a number of new ones as well.
Each Gee is unique and recognisable.
What’s the plan with them?
Geez has a very distinct Road Map with a lot of focus of gaming and animation.
First to come is the ability to carry out some basic animation with your Geez by posing them using the Geez website (you need to connect your wallet!) and being able to carry out some animations with them.
Next up is the release of 3d models, enabling those with the skills to animate their Geez to get really creative with these guys.
Then comes the launch of gaming avatars. Game incoming? Geez in the Otherside?
Finally, comes an animated series featuring Geez. Which we know is going to be amazing.
Who’s behind them?
The team features a number of well known members of the BAYC community with founders Rida & Xeer. Rida is involved in a number of NFT projects and runs an animation studio and Xeer is involved in a lot of pies including ApeVentures.
Where can you get them?
Geez are listed on Magic Eden and other NFT marketplaces (But as always, do your research and check that the collection your looking at is genuine!) and at time of writing this are around 500 Ape.
We love these guys and we will soon be adding one of them to our collection, enabling us to include animations of our Gee and also be involved in this amazing collection.
